Roadtrip 2016 Fall: Vancouver - Yakima - Bend - John Day River - Port Orford - Florence - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 40 - Kenwood, Hood Mountain

Our day kicks off with coffee in a sunny spot. Emma's day kicks off with a nap in the shade.

Lunch at Palooza Gastropub in Kenwood. Craft beer choces on the left chalkboard - wines on the right - orchards and vineyards across the street.

No one dares to breathe on this wild construction. No it's not nailed together - we checked.

After all the alcoholic options Wendy chooses a sweet Japanese style iced tea. Delicious.

Those potato chips are house-made daily. They are actually better than Tim's Cascade, the World Official Benchmark for all potato chips.

The top-secret fluoridation and pacification unit for Sonoma Valley. It really is the water.

Wendy and Emma beat a hasty retreat before the black helicopters show up again.

The drive back into the Valley. The Sonomites have no clue what is going on in them hills.

Ahh. Hedonism. At Solbar in the Solage Resort, destination retreat for country club women.

The new meaning of "social". At least for Homo Electronicus.

The super moon continues to show its stuff.
